Kids Church runs concurrently with our 10am service; and involves a number of ministries (which commence from 10.00am) for children and teens.
KidsChurch for 2020 is back now in Term 3 – but with program materials also available on our website (under the “live’ link above) for those families choosing not to physically attend yet!
Our aim at Kids Church is to provide an age appropriate teaching program, in a safe and caring environment, that helps the children to learn and grow in their personal knowledge, faith and love of Jesus.
A creche operates every Sunday. The creche cares for 0 to 2.5 year-olds while their parents take part in the service. Creche is run by volunteers from the service and we ask that parents please take turns on the creche roster where possible. For directions to creche please speak to the welcomers at the door at the start of church.
FROGs – is for preschoolers (2.5 to 5 year-olds), which presently meets in Meeting Room 1 (next to the kitchen). Please drop off your children from 9.45am before the service starts. For more information contact Kylie Dunn on 9456 6370
Oasis – is the name of our infants & primary groups – ‘Junior Oasis’ (years K-2) and ‘Senior Oasis’ (years 3-5). Children attending these groups are signed in by their parents, before we all start in ‘big’ church. After some time together the children and their leaders then go out to their respective groups. The Oasis programs introduce the key Bible messages with a blend of stories, games, music and small group discussion and prayer. For more information about Oasis groups contact Ian Millican on 9456 4498.
DJ’s (Discovering Jesus) – is not meeting at present due to COVID restrictions. It is our new group for those older children in years 6-8 who still come to morning church. The children start the morning in church with the adults and then split off into their own group. They spend time getting to know each other, learning about our great God and having a great opportunity to ask questions and explore their own faith. For more information about this group contact Ian Millican on 9456 4498.
